EMPRETEC GHANA COMPLETES PHASE I OF ENHANCING ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME IN NAMIBIA

A team from Empretec Ghana has completed Phase I of Enhancing Entrepreneurship Development Programme in Namibia. The team, comprising Mr. Kofi A. Denkyi, Chief Operation Officer, Mr. Kwabena Darfoor, Consultant and Mr. Osei Kwaku Agyekum, National Trainer, visited Namibia from 19th to 30th August to establish a Programme Management Unit (PMU) to manage the Empretec programme in Namibia and also build the capacities of the Unit to promote entrepreneurship and enterprise growth within Namibian society. The team worked in collaboration with Madam Tatiana Krylova, Head of Enterprise Branch/UNCTAD, the UNDP Country Office in Namibia and the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and SME Development (MITSMED) of Namibia. Phase II of the Programme is scheduled take place in October 2019.
