EMPRETEC Ghana conducted entrepreneurship training for 897 Micro-Finance Institutions (MFI) in the Central, Eastern, Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Regions of Ghana to build their capacity to grow their business in order to expand their client base and outreach to the poor, especially to women in the MSME sector. EMPRETEC Ghana further provided Business Development Services to selected owner-managers of MFIs to enable them improve the productivity, scale and commercial results of their enterprises and thereby impact on wealth creation and poverty reduction. The Project was under the auspices the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Ghana (GoG) and was completed in 2011.
